About Us

Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing personal, comprehensive care to each patient and client.

We are a unique practice on the Central Coast, as we are the only veterinary practice with preventive care, board-certified veterinary specialists, and an emergency service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our emergency service is staffed by veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians 24 hours a day, which allows us to provide emergency service and overnight care when your family veterinarian is not available.

We are also an AAHA accredited hospital. To achieve this distinction, we pass regular voluntary evaluations of our patient care, client service, management, facilities, and medical equipment. We are proud to be among the 17% of AAHA accredited practices in North America.

Although medical care and accreditation are important, we feel that it’s the relationship between you and your pet that is most important. As your pet health care partner, we strive to help you make informed and compassionate choices about your pet(s)' care.

We serve Santa Cruz, Soquel, Capitola, Aptos, San Lorenzo Valley, Watsonville and surrounding areas on the Central Coast.
