Dear Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital Pet Parents,

We are excited to announce that starting June 15th 2021 we will begin taking steps to reopen our hospital!

The safety of our clients and employees is our highest priority and we will continue to review all available state and CDC recommendations as we work towards welcoming you back inside. We ask that you please bear with us as we move through the operational challenges we are sure to face. Here are some important points:

  1. For now, we can only allow one person per pet in the hospital.
  2. We will continue to serve clients curbside who are here to pick up food or medication.
  3. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for your appointment to allow for some wiggle room during this transition.
  1. Patient check-in and checkout will continue to happen via telephone
  2. We are currently booking in-person visits for new clients who have not met our Doctors, sick pets, and euthanasia. For the next few weeks, we plan to continue curbside protocols for routine vaccines and appointments made with our technicians.
  3. When you arrive for your appointment, you may choose to check in via text or phone.

Please bear with us during this transition time, and be prepared for slightly longer than usual wait times. Thanks for your continued patience and we hope you are staying healthy and safe!  We look forward to seeing you soon!  The staff of Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital
